TOOLS FROM SNOBS EDUCATION WEEKEND 2011SNOBS education weekend in Helsingborg went very well and attractaed a variety of aspiring coaches, directors, quartets and individual singers. And an entire female chorus!Under the guidance from our excellent North American educators Sandy Robinson Marron, Tim Marron, Doug Harrington and Gary Plaag we all learnt old and new stuff, which all was very helpful. The singing class that Tim Marron held with the title The Physiology of RING" is also published here, so you all can download it and share with your fellow singers. EUROPEAN CONVENTION MARCH 14 - 17, 2013 IN VELDHOVEN, THE NETHERLANDSWho qualifies to participate in the European Convention 2013?The top 3 choruses and 3 quartets from each organization, in the case of mixed organizations, 3 female choruses and quartets and 3 male choruses and quartets. In case you can not send the top 3, then you are free to choose 3 out of the top 5.Organizations that have a yearly convention and the rule that a winning chorus or quartet cannot compete the next year, can send the champion chorus and quartet from 2011 as well as the top 2 choruses and quartets from 2012 or out of the best 5. The European Champion comes on top of that. For example: LABBS can send the 2011 winner, which are the White Rosettes. As they are also the current European champions. LABBS can then choose to send the White Rosettes as well as their top 3 from 2012 or 3 out of the top 5. In total 4 choruses. >> Read more about this...
SNOBS COACHING TURNÉ FÖR KÖRERLikt de senaste åren kommer coaching turnén till alla körer att gå av stapeln i början av året 2012 – dock inte i janurai redan som förut utan i slutet av februari 2012. Vi har lyssnat på körernas inputs om att det är lite väl tidigt på sångsäsongen att genomföra denna coachingturné så tidigt som i januari.
