Ace High
Ace High is a young, eager, and hungry quartet coming from the gold medal-winning Danish chorus, Barbaros! What started as a fun side project to work on alongside the chorus quickly took off as the group discovered their excitement for ringing chords and performing together. Now, after many late hours, multiple coaching sessions, and sore throats, Ace High is ready to stand tall and make a big splash at the 2025 SNOBS convention!
Ace High is a group of young guys from different academic fields, but their shared love for barbershop is what unites them.
Studying mechanical engineering by day and Broadway by night, Holger brings precision and performance to his role as lead. His stage presence and expressive melodies take Ace High’s sound to new heights.
The group’s rock-solid bass, Malthe is the only member with previous quartet experience. With a bachelor’s in music, he anchors the group with his deep, resonant tones, ensuring Ace High’s sound stays rich and powerful.
New to barbershop, William blends his passion for physics with his love for overtones. His curiosity about sound waves fuels his enthusiasm for the genre, and he’s already making waves with his soaring tenor lines.
With a future in medicine, Tobias adds depth to Ace High as the baritone. Whether hitting the books or lifting weights, his dedication to both his studies and his music shines through in every chord. Whether they’re studying physics, medicine, or music, they all come together for one thing: the joy of ringing chords.
The quartet aims to take you all over the barbershop world, from the most sincere heartfelt ballads of the phantomic operas to the silliest, monkeying jungles. It’s a little of the old, a little of the new, in a package of four young ‘shoppers sizzling to make their mark on the Nordic barbershop scene. Make the hero call, and go all in on Ace High!

Barbari
Iceland’s one and only barbershop quartet!
Formed in 2013 by a group of unapologetically passionate singers who couldn’t resist the allure of barbershop music, Barbari has boldly taken the crown as Iceland’s most successful (and incidentally only) barbershop quartet.
The name “Barbari”, Icelandic for “Barbarian”, refers to the group’s wild, untamed and occasionally reckless approach to barbershop singing, as well as our geographic distance from any and all other barbershop circles.
We’re super excited to return to Helsingborg after our first foray into competitive barbershop singing in 2024. Get ready for Barbari 2.0: a polished, slightly more trouble-free version of your favorite Icelandic quartet!

Barberpapas
Barberpapas – these are four young singers with a passion for A-Cappella Barbershop. Their concert program, which ranges from musical and pop songs to classical arrangements and original compositions, captivates with its diversity, audience connection, and vibrant performance: With humor and ease, they transform every concert evening into an unforgettable sound experience.
The sound of this pure male ensemble is characterized primarily by the trained voices of the four young singers, who met in the State Youth Choir of North Rhine-Westphalia and are active internationally as soloists and choir singers. Since their founding in June 2016, the Barberpapas have been rehearsing in various locations across Germany.
The concert activities of this award-winning ensemble extend throughout Germany and include their own programs, workshops, and participation in vocal festivals. They have won several silver and gold medals in national barbershop competitions.
The Barberpapas place great importance on music education: For several years, the ensemble has been committed to youth work and annually conducts the A CAPPELLA YOUTH CAMP for BinG! (Barbershop in Germany e. V.). In workshops, they aim to bring barbershop and ensemble music closer to more people (e.g., as part of the Federal Congress on Music Education, school music exchanges, and the choir.com).

BarberQ
BarberQ – Queuing up for some barbershop singing.
BarberQ is a Barbershop quartet from Växjö, Sweden consisting of active and previous singers from Dacke Drängar Barbershop Chorus. We have been singing in different constellations and this is the first time on the SNOBS stage for this specific constellation. Three of us spend additional time together in our spare time working on the VocalTeam solution for choruses and smaller vocal ensembles. We like to do cooperations with other ensembles and perform as often as we can for those willing to listen 😉
Our trebble clef often fight to get the melody and they regularly change parts between songs.

Kickstart
Kickstart is, in fact, still kicking. After having our debut on the stage at last year’s convention, we’re incredibly excited to be back this year to ring some chords and have some fun. As our bass has crossed the threshold of barbershop-adulthood at age 26, we’re also gonna have our first year at the grown-up table. Since our last SNOBS, we’ve succumbed to a crippling coaching addiction, and we can’t wait to hopefully show you that all it takes to get slightly better at singing chords once a year is an irresponsible share of a student income and a complete disregard for any non-barbershop related homework.
See you all at the convention, we are counting the days! 😊
Love, Kickstart.

Lemon Squeezy
Lemon Squeezy is a Swedish vocal group consisting of four gentlemen. Since singing our first chords together in 2010, we have had one goal: to sing as fresh and have as much fun as possible. Through the years we’ve become well acquainted with many genres of music. While stemming from a strong Swedish choral tradition, we have truly found our footing in barbershop, jazz, and anything that grooves.
In 2012 we won the Barbershop Collegiate World Championships and finished second in the world at the International Barbershop Harmony Society Contest 2016 and 2023. So far we’ve recorded two albums, traveled all over the world, and created our own style with a strive to push the envelope of what a men’s acapella quartet can be.
We hope to see you out in the world!

About Time
We all have been in various other quartets before, but in 2020 we thought it was About Time we sang together. We also sing in various choruses and other quartets and we have two chorus directors in our midst.
We usually rehearse every other week, working on old and new repertoire but we also always have coffee and cakes (and candy, chocolates, liquorice, crisps….) because, obviously, we need to catch up.
We work with a number of coaches to help us improve our singing, music and performance. Ocassionally we plan a retreat weekend for rehearsing, enjoying each other’s company, good food and a drink.
In March 2023, during the Dutch convention, we were very happy tot be finalists and reach fifth place. In October 2024 we were placed 7th at the international IABS convention in Killarney. We are very pleased with these results.
We enjoyed great coachings during European Quartet School in Febuary 2025, preparing for the Duch convention in March 2025 where we made it to the finals and were placed 6th in the national competition. Happy with our scores!
We are thrilled to be in Helsingborg for the EBC! we look foreward to meeting old and new friends and we wish all contestants good luck and lots of fun!!

We began singing together at the end of 2018 after first meeting in St Jacobs Vokalensemble, a church choir based in Stockholm. All four of us had competed with our mixed quartets (Risky Business, Killer Whales & Potential Scandal) earlier that same year and wanted to try a female setting. Since then we have competed a few times in the Nordic Championships and also had the opportunity to go to Phoenix, Arizona in September 2022 to represent Nordic Light Region #32 which was an amazing experience and we learned a lot! In October 2023 we got to be a part of IABS as a guest quartet and since then we havn’t been on stage together. In the upcoming years we want to continue to challenge ourselves creating new music and pushing our limits. We also have the goal to compete internationally again in the future.

Muddy Stilettos
Muddy Stilettos formed in the summer of 2020, just as small gatherings were starting to be possible again. The first song we ever learned together was Happy Together—and we truly are! Since then, we’ve worked hard and been fortunate to achieve some incredible milestones. We won the Sweet Adelines Region 31 Gold Medal in 2022, which took us all the way to the international stage in Phoenix. In 2023, we became LABBS Silver Medalists, and in 2024, we were thrilled to take home the LABBS Quartet Gold Medal.
Our journey together has been filled with more than just music—we’ve celebrated a 30th, a 40th, and a 60th birthday, a wedding, and even welcomed a grandson into our quartet family. Most recently, our tenor has given birth to a beautiful baby boy, Ronnie, who is just four months old and has already joined us on this amazing journey to Sweden!
We wouldn’t be here without our incredible coach, Nicky Salt, who always makes sure we’re seasoned to perfection before we step on stage. We’re so excited to be here and can’t wait to entertain you in today’s competition!

Newphoria
Four voices, countless chords – and more years of Barbershop under our belts than slices of cake we’ve shared (and that’s saying something).
Since 2021, this Austria-Germany alliance has been blending experience, warmth, and a deep love for music. We’re especially drawn to songs that tell a story – the kind that linger in the air long after the last chord fades.
We can’t wait to soak in the sound of Helsingborg and connect with fellow harmony lovers from all over Europe.
Newphoria – where music matters, friendship resonates, and every performance is a little love letter to Barbershop.

We had a great time on stage and enjoyed every moment! We’re really looking forward to competing again in both SNOBS and the European Championships

the Hillbillys
The three bottom parts won the first ever World Championships for mixed quartets back in 2012 in Germany, and has since topped up with Hillevi from the notorious SA Top-5 quartet ReMix. Hillevi also stands as the inspiration fior the quartet name, taking the first letters from her first and last name. All four are “southeners” and either born or live in Helsingborg, Skåne, which would – as far as we know – be the only connection with the quartet name and the quartet members… 😉 the Hillbillys are your European silver medallists and SNOBS silver medallists from the last contests and are also International quartet champions from the IABS contest in October 2024. The combined number of appearances as a quartet singer on the SAI/SNOBS contest stage is a staggering 122 times 😉

The Light Fantastic
Formed in 2023, we are a passionate and vibrant mixed barbershop quartet from the UK, bringing close harmonies and heartfelt performances to audiences far and wide. In our debut year, we made our mark on the barbershop scene by earning a silver medal at the Irish Association of Barbershop Singers (IABS) convention, and our journey has been on a high note ever since!
In October 2024, we achieved an incredible milestone by taking home the top prize in the Mixed Quartet competition at the Ladies Association of British Barbershop Singers (LABBS) convention.
With members scattered across the country, our commitment to music knows no bounds. Baritone Colin makes the journey from Edinburgh, while Tenor Jenny travels all the way from Portsmouth. Together with Bass Simon and Lead Emma, who generously share the responsibility of hosting rehearsals in Leicester, we create a strong bond fuelled by music, dedication, and Turkish food at our favourite restaurant!
Our repertoire spans classic barbershop gems and contemporary arrangements, delivered with a mix of warmth, humor, and a love for harmony. As we continue to grow and perform, we look forward to spreading the joy of barbershop music to new stages and new listeners.

Veto
As the current reigning German Barbershop Champion quartet, Veto is a transatlantic mix of half German, half American singers—four friends, two couples, and a whole lot of fun. With years of barbershop experience between them, they love a classic tag but are just as excited to explore music of all kinds.
When they’re not singing, they’re probably still hanging out—because great barbershop harmony starts with great friendship. Now, they’re gearing up for their debut on the European barbershop stage, ready to share their energy, passion, and love for the craft!
