Lead: Holger Kristensen (Barbaros)
Baritone: Tobias Rygaard (Barbaros)
Bass: Malthe Hartz (Barbaros)
Category: Men’s quartet, Regular
Ace High is ready to go all in again! Last time in 2025 it was a young, eager and hungry quartet that visited Helsingborg, just having a blast and being stoked getting to sing in the Finals, and taking in the full convention experience. A year later, still quite young and hungry, now with a more developed sound, and about 400% more experienced than last time, we’re ready to take the next step on the big stage.
This time we’re hoping to rock the boat even more, and show the best of what danish barbershop has to offer!
Barbari

Tenor: Karl Friðrik Hjaltason
Lead: Páll Sólmundur Eydal
Baritone: Gunnar Thor Örnólfsson
Bass: Ragnar Pétur Jóhannsson
Category: Men’s quartet, Regular
Iceland’s one and only barbershop quartet!
Formed in 2013 by a group of unapologetically passionate singers who couldn’t resist the allure of barbershop music, Barbari has boldly taken the crown as Iceland’s most successful (and incidentally only) barbershop quartet.
The name "Barbari," meaning “Barbarian” in Icelandic, refers to the group’s wild, untamed and occasionally reckless approach to barbershop singing, as well as our geographic distance from any and all other barbershop circles.

Tenor: Lars-Åke Eriksson (Falu Miner Chords)
Lead: Torbjörn Molander (Falu MinerChords)
Baritone: Conny Ängsback (Falu Miner Chords)

Kickstart is an ambitious young quartet from Copenhagen. The quartet was founded in spring 2024 and consists of the three founding members: Jonathan, David, and Thomas, and one a new addition from the summer of 2025: Hans as lead.
All four singers have a strong background in classical singing prior to entering the barbershop scene, and we have all had a fun journey transforming our classical sound to the ringing sound of barbershop. We love to sing together, we love to ringing together, and we look forward to sharing this passion with you!

Metropolitan Union

Tenor: Daniel Morales Teixidó
Lead: Martí Doñate Soley
Baritone: Joan Mas Soler
Bass: German De la Riva Herrera
Category: Men’s quartet (International Quartet, Not competing in SNOBS)
Metropolitan Union is one of the leading barbershop quartets in the Iberian Peninsula. Founded in 2013 and re-formed in 2015 with the current line-up, the group has turned this North American vocal style into a unique and intimate experience, full of energy, humour and complicity with the audience.
Their proposal is both singular and pioneering: to be the standard-bearers of the barbershop style in the peninsula, to raise the points of union between baroque and contemporary music passed through the sieve of the barbershop style, and also to bring this style to Catalan and turn it into a natural bridge with our choral tradition, heir to the Clavé choirs.
Their talent has been recognized in several competitions: bronze and best new quartet in 2014, runner-up in Spain in 2017 and, finally, absolute champions of the national competition in 2023. And, in 2024, achieving the best score ever obtained in the state competition, they obtained the title of international champions at the En Armonia 2024 convention of the BIBA (Barbershop of Iberia Association) which consolidated their leadership and projection.
Along the way, Metropolitan Union has recorded several albums, from its first CD All a TAG (Microscopi, 2022) to new projects that dress the most traditional songs with barbershop harmony. Its most recent show and CD, Barberismes (Duplicat, 2025) is both a tribute and a declaration of intent: to demonstrate that barbershop, born in 19th century American barbershops, can sound fully Catalan, connecting past and future with naturalness and freshness. With four voices flying at the same time, Metropolitan Union offers much more than a concert: it is a captivating experience that combines vocal virtuosity, stage proximity, pedagogical notes, humor of the best and worst you can find, and contagious enthusiasm. A cultural proposal from zero kilometer with international projection, which invites the audience to rediscover acapella music in a new, vibrant and unforgettable way.

Category: Men’s quartet, Regular
Skill Issues’ Tenor and Baritone have collectively been through six attempts at forming a quartet, and are hoping that the 7th time’s a charm. The name is a reference to the quartet’s ambitions of one day overcoming their shortcomings or ‘skill issues’ in order to deliver really cool performances on the competitive stage. Until then, Skill Issues remains an integral part of our identity.

Category: Men’s quartet, Regular
Four guys from different eras and walks of life in Stockholm, coming together in unity to produce clear, deep and crisp harmonies. We mix the classics with modern barbershop pieces to convey our feelings about blind love and life’s struggles.
Swedanes
Tenor: Anders Slot Sørensen (Barbaros)
Lead: Yngve Lyngsø (Barbaros)
Baritone: Rasmus Krigström
Bass: Jonas Törnqvist (Zero8)
Category: Men’s quartet, Regular (evaluation only)
Four men. Two Danes. Two Swedes.
SWEDANES
For centuries our nations have glared at each other across the water, occasionally settling disagreements with fleets, cannons, and the odd historical battle or seventeen. Names like the Kalmar War and the Scanian War once echoed with the sounds of marching boots and clashing steel.
Today, however, those sounds have been replaced with something far more dangerous: close harmony.
United by a fragile peace treaty (and a shared inability to sing the melody quietly), two Danes and two Swedes have put centuries of Nordic rivalry aside to form a barbershop quartet. Where our ancestors fought over territory, we now argue about tuning, tempo, and who actually started the last chord too early.
Trocadero

Tenor: Samuel Andrén (Zero8)
Lead: Jakob Berggren
Baritone: Christian Holst (Zero8)
Bass: Filip Sibién (Zero8)
Category: Men’s quartet, Regular
Vintage

Tenor: Ola Johansson (The EntertainMen)
Lead: Lars Wikström (The EntertainMen)
Baritone: Lars Pettersson (The EntertainMen)
Bass: Bengt Eriksson (The EntertainMen)
Category: Men’s quartet, Senior
Vintage
Straight from the risers of The EntertainMen, Vintage is a quartet powered by high-octane sugar and questionable math. Their rehearsal strategy is simple: no semla, no singing.
Navigating their lineup requires a map. They’ve managed to recruit two Lasses, which is either a stroke of genius or a logistical nightmare. They also boast two baritones—though one is currently performing a heroic "tenor" act for the sake of the chord. While the Bass serves as the group’s Musical Director (the "Boss"), it’s the Lead who takes to the keys, plinking through the crunchy bits until the overtones finally behave.
As for their setlist? They seem strangely preoccupied with certain riverboat hubs and crescent-shaped locales in the Deep South. It’s a cryptic obsession, but as long as the chords ring and the whipped cream holds out, they aren’t asking questions.

Butter

Tenor: Amalie Daugaard (WondAros)
Lead: Carolina Benitez
Baritone: Andrea Brønniche (WondAros)
Bass: Anna Katrine Grønbæk (WondAros)
Category: Women’s quartet, Regular
Founded in early 2025, Butter Quartet (BQ) grew out of late-night tag sessions at WondAros in Aarhus that quickly became too good (and too addictive) to keep casual.
Sweet by nature, cute by choice, and brave when it counts, BQ is on a mission to bring a fresh and intentional voice to barbershop. We choose music that aligns with our values and tells stories we believe in — all while embracing the thrill of singing together across distances.
SNOBS already feels like home, and we’re beyond excited to step on this stage as a quartet for the first time!

Hello there! We are The Chimes from Stockholm, Sweden!
After a few years of singing together in Stockholm City Voices the four of
us decided to step into the world of quartet singing for the first time ever
back in January of 2025, and four months later we participated in the 2025
EBC + SNOBS convention in Helsingborg as non-competing mic warmers.
This year we’re very exited to finally hit the stage as a competing quartet!
See you all at the afterglow, come sing a tag if you catch us!

Quartet singing should be for everyone.

We love tight arrangements, afterglow and tag singing.

Lead: Amanda Bülow (Stockholm City Voices)
Baritone: Maija Högström (Stockholm City Voices)
Bass: Elin Andersen
Category: Women’s quartet, Regular
Over The Weekend is a Stockholm-based vocal quartet with a diverse background in folk music, musical theatre and classical choral singing. They feel that the best thing about singing together is getting to spend so much time with each other, laughing until their stomachs hurt and tears flow, while at the same time developing both individually and as a group.
Sugar n’ Spice

Tenor: Helen Andersson
Lead: Yvonne Berg
Baritone: Annika Christensen
Bass: Fia Modh
Category: Women’s quartet, Senior
Sugar n´ Spice is a quartet that loves singing together and sharing the joy of music. We enjoy growing and improving as singers while keeping things fun and relaxed.
Sweet Beat

Tenor: Maria Kriuchek (Stockholm City Voices)
Lead: Elin Glaad (Stockholm City Voices)
Baritone: Júlía B. Sigurdardóttir (Stockholm City Voices)
Bass: Amy Glaad
Category: Women’s quartet, Regular
Sweet Beat has now officially survived their first competition together and returns to the stage a little wiser, a little braver, and with even more love for barbershop. All members are proud current or former members of Stockholm City Voices. They meet one weekend a month and drink a lot of tea and a little bit of beer. And of course, they sometimes sing—just enough chaos to keep things interesting. The bass is the lead’s mum (yes, family harmony is real), while the tenor and baritone bring fresh energy from the east and the north.
A Great Shoutfit

Tenor: Isabelle Rosell (Öresound)
Lead: Lotte Engebladh (Öresound)
Baritone: Staffan Paulson
Bass: Christian Godden
Category: Mixed quartet, Regular
A Great Shoutfit – the ultimate barbershop experience. Or is it? We don’t know, and to be honest, it doesn’t matter. Although being an experience is part of our brand, being the ultimate experience might be pushing it. And don’t forget, a bad experience is also an experience. Isa, Lotte, Staffan and Christian. 4 old friends that can sing together. And do.
The Hillbillys

Tenor: Hillevi Billinger (Northern Stars)
Lead: Anna Rosenberg Adlerstam (Pearls of the Sound, Northern Stars)
Baritone: Sofia Hagman (Pearls of the Sound, Northern Stars)
Bass: Henrik Rosenberg Adlerstam (Northern Stars)
Category: Mixed quartet, Regular
the Hillbillys was formed in 2018 and is (contrary to the name) a very Swedish mixed acappella group, consisting of Hillevi Martinson Billinger (tenor), Anna Rosenberg (lead), Henrik Rosenberg (bass) and Sofia Hagman (baritone). The group is focused on performing mainly in the barbershop style.
the Hillbillys is the reigning mixed SNOBS Nordic Champions 2025, the Irish Champions 2024 and the current mixed European silver medallists.
One of the group’s bigger achievements was to place in the Top-20 in the most recent World Championships in the USA (2025).
All four members have been active singers for many years in the Swedish acapella community, and have a rich background from other groups and functions within the Swedish and International barbershop scene.
The opportunity to come and be part of the annual SNOBS convention is something the group is really excited about and looking forward to be part of, since they rarely meet IRL for rehearsals – being a long distance group.

Baritone: Per Hermansson (Northern stars chorus)

Lead: Anna Emtfors Nilsson (Northern Stars)
Baritone: Andreas Stenlund (Entertainmen)
Bass: Fredrick Rustum (Entertainmen)
Category: Mixed quartet, Regular
We amuse ourselves through an abundance of notes, overtones and laughes when singing and consider our sleves “probably one of the most self-amusing quartets in the world”
